Hey guys, here is my latest song.

Any feedback is appreciated. I just started mixing and would love to hear what you think.

Please comment on both. Again ANY feedback is warmly appreciated.
 
turn down the bass guitar and add some mids. Turn up the rythmn guitar, the snare and the kick. The guitar sounds like its in mono. Try making it more stereo.

I added 2 more songs 'Anniversary' and 'It's Cold'.

I know there has to be someone else that heard these. ANY feedback is appreciated greatly.
 
Hmm...

I'm not any kind of authority...just sounds like it needs some pizzaz :D.

It's kind of like cooking with flavor. It sounds like you have all these great ideas that are trying to get out, but making it is getting in the way.

Like some people yell at me....

"MAKE IT BIG MAN....BIG BIG BIG....AND EPIC...LOTS OF EPIC". Then I guess the modivation kina helps in getting things moving. :D


Push things, man. Compression, EQ, reverbs and delays and all the crazy effects you can get with. It's more a thing of adding some life into the mix more than anything. :)

Thanks for the comment. What do you mean? Use more VST effects? What would you say the songs lack the most?
 
I'd say the main thing lacking is vocals. It sounds like you have the basis for a good song here, it's got a good progression, just needs vox to kick it along and add another dimension
 
I like your style. All of the songs sound pretty good to me. I especially like "New Start".

If you don't already have someone for vox and are interested in a colab, let me know. :D

You got some really nice potential here. Nice tunes and sound.
(I listened the first song)
Drums (OR should I call it Cubase drawn notes) are really holding you down.
Better sound on this part and some tweaks on dynamic and you've got yourself a something to be proud of.
Don't forget vocals. I don't see an instrumental in this one. Must have vocals.

Listening to New Start:
I reckon you should double track all the guitars (make sure there perfect) and then mix them to sound great(good eqing and nice bit o compression). then your snare needs to be louder, and faker :)
I dont think you should put vocals on it for the sake of it, maybe add in some more synths with a nice lead melody for the ending.

Sikter - Thanks, I used the 808 synth for the drums I might actually replace with some Reason drums, still experimenting. My computer can't run too much at once :)

guitarboi89 - thanks, I actually did double the rhythm telecaster guitar, not the distorted LP or the Strat, but I can work on doubling it some more.

Bulls Hit - Thanks, I think I'll post for some collab work here. I'm starting to train my voice and already tried V-Vocal to correct it - not the best sound there so I'll keep working on it :)

LeeRosario - Thanks for your comments, again. I guess I need some guidance on what kind of Fx to use on what to make it "EPIC"
