How we doing?

"Tonight" is a interesting song, I mean its a fun song but it could be much better. First off your mix needs a lot of work. The vocals arent mixed properly and the beat could be better. The overall mix is muddy and needs work. The hook is good but it needs to be tightened up as well. Same thing on "Fast Lane" really. Just work on ya mix giving more attention to the vocals especially on the hook. Who is doing your production (beats) and mixing?
 
We're a group with about 5 main members. We all kinda pitch in on the mixing. It's all done in a home studio. The guy on the hook of Fast Lane and Tonight did most of the production with some help from the rest of us.
 
I asked because the beats and melodies all kind of sound the same, you may want to address that as well. Consider someone else to do your beats for a couple of songs. As far as the mixing goes my advice is to choose ONE person to do all of your mixing, allow him to concentrate on it and trust him! Do that and watch your overall product improve.
