how was the blue weezer album recorded?

i really like their sound on the blue album does anyone know how they recorded it. I have the original cd, i dunno if the new ones are like remixed or something.

thanks man. i have always noticed that and now i know why. In say it aint so you can really hear it right before... the drummer starts playing a different beat and then they go into the chorus
