Recording Modus Operandi
Right click the my computer and select properties... you can find whether it is a 64 bit or x86 If it's 64 bit it will say it.

Been a 10+years standalone multitracker, and now getting started with PC recording; it sure has lots of settings and parameters I completely ignored.
Just bought an M-Audio Fast Track Pro interface to use with my laptop.

The "other" test is whether half your stuff doesnt work. If it doesn.t, its probably 64 bit...

Just installed and tested the Fast track pro.
Had some crackle and noise issues at first, but after playing around with buffers, got that fixed.
Happy camper here; first time I recorded using an interface
My system is a Vista Home basic SP1 32 bit.

I still haven't got my mulit-channel interface yet. I'm thinking about the Fast Track Ultra. High-speed 8 x 8 USB 2.0 Interface with MX Core DSP Technology
Post something later on when you've done more recording. Let us know the experience with your unit.
