How to setup monitor mix in Cubase via Steinberg MR816csx?

I just got this unit locally for 380. Not sure if this is a good move from profire2626. I was sold on the idea that it has hardware effects while monitoring but I still can't figure out. Has something to do with selecting hardware or MR Editting program. Can someone help me?
Also I have those cmc controllers hooked up. The midi activity bar keeps going up and down.

Still have trouble here. I have Cubase 7AI that came with my cmc controllers. It doesn't seem to have a control room option. How to use this direct monitoring with Rev-X reverb guys....I use Imac.
