Ok, do you have a MIDI controller? Keyboard, MPC, something along that line?
You want to take the MIDI signal from the controller, into the USB adapter.
In FL Studio, go to your preferences or setup, I forget which... Click on the MIDI icon. Then use the drop down menu to find your USB adapter, and click the box that says "enable slave device" or something to that effect... I don't have FL at work, so I'm flying blind...
After that, it should receive trigger signals from your controller. Load any sound on a track, select that track, and control the sound via the MIDI controller.
Did you install the adapter via windows? Did the OS recognize the adapter?
If so, FL studio should recognize it as well. It generally will give you the option to use the default MIDI Windows card or whatever adapter you have installed....
Im using Microsoft 2000 but the thing is when I connect my controller it SAYS that a new device has been found, however when I click "my computer" absolutely nothing is shown pertaining to a usb device..."u get me"
