How to hear reverb through headphones using BR-1600?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I used to use a BOSS BR1180 and I could hear reverb applied to the MIC input through the headphone jacks by default, but I can't figure out how to acheive the same thing with the BR1600. Has anyone else figured this out? I'm trying to record a voice track and hear the reverb effect while I'm singing it so I know what I'm going to sound like before mastering with different treatments, etc.

Thanks,

Jimmie Jazz

I have a BR-1600, use input 2 (Mic input) press COSM effect button, chose a effect or edit and save one.

Nope, that didn't work, I still can't hear the reverb effect over the headphones WHILE I'M SINGING/RECORDING. I can hear it afterward of course, but that isn't what I want.

Reverb on br1600

You need to set the INPUT reverb to whatever value you want, not the one that is only applied to the track. To do this, press REVERB button, then press the left ARROW key next to function key 1. Use the cursor keys to select the track you want to set (ie 2). Set it to the desired value. Every time you record, the reverb will have this setting, and the TRACK reverb setting will match it. So if you record, then change the TRACK reverb, then record again, the track reverb will get set back to the record (input) reverb. None of these are actually recorded to the track, so no worries about that.

Hope this helps.

Reverb on br1600cd

It's in there SOMEWHERE, 'cause I found it. I had the same problem except that mine was the track eq would keep changing after I'd set it. Finally figured out why. Have fun. I think I've found a bug in the 1600. If you try to set a tempo change past measure 100, it ignores it. I have a call in to support to see about fixing that.

If I figure out where it is, I'll post the page/section of the manual where I found it. Similar functions sure appear in a lot of different places...

Thanks again for your help. It'd probably have been weeks before I found it myself; I was ready to give up.

Bug in BR1600 tempo map

I confirmed with Roland this morning that there IS a bug in the tempo map function of the BR1600CD. It ignores tempo changes above measure 100. They are posting a patch on the website if you need it.
