behringer eurorack to fast track pro. so, when I connect the lines, do I just set in a program fast track pro 1/2 and anything plugged into my mixer will pick up?

Pretty well.
Your software (DAW) will want you to assign your tracks. Make track one L and track two R, keeping in mind that you are referring to your sources, not your outputs.
If you are only recording two tracks, skip the mixer and plug straight into the Fast Track Pro.
