How would I go about assigning busses in Nuendo 1.6? I want to assign the drums to one buss so I can apply overall compression to just the drums. Also, while i'm thinking about it, how would I use my external effects during mixdown in Nuendo. I've read some things on it but for some reason I can't figure it out. I'm using an Aardvark Q10 as my interface. Would really appreciate some suggestions. Thanks.

You have to add group channels. then you look at the bottom of the rum channels, where it says BUS1, right click on it and select the group you want it to be assigned to.
You know, it covers this in the quick start manual.

Hey man, thanks a bunch. I don't have any documentation for Nuendo unfortunately and I know alot of this is pretty basic information. I've got the grouping for the drums figured out. Now if I wanted to use an external effect, I suppose I would have to send the given group/track to a different set of outputs on the Q10 via bus setup in nuendo, route that effect back to the inputs and use the mix control on my outboard pieces to adjust the level. Then I suppose I could just set the aardvark to record a track off of 'inputs 9/10' (which the Q10 can be configured to output the master signal) in Nuendo to get my mixdown or use an external deck. If that's that then no more mixdown export for me. lol. Damnit I can't be lazy anymore.

You won't get any help using a cracked program here. Go buy something!
