Well think about the fat chicks in school, you dont want to get in their way in line in the cafeteria do you? But if they werent there, you wouldnt have a basis to appreciate just how hot the rare (transient) hot chicks were.

Or A herd of cattle. You caertainly cant control the behaviour of each individually, you just need to nudge them into thinking " gee it would be easier if I went in this direction the cowboy is pointing us at" . If you nudge them too hard, you get hamburger, and meat spoils fast out on the range, so youd have to eat it all at once, giving you a sick stomach and CERTAINLY not wanting to eat anymore of them later, and kinda making you useless for the rest of the run to Dodge City. The few cowboys are there only to say where things are going, and you have to be sure you know HOW they are saying that. Sometimes whips are good, sometimes prods and sometimes making an example out of the strays.

I would appreciate it if you wouldn't interrupt this thread with talk about recording. I was becoming entranced in Pipeline's tale of cowboys who are carefully prodding skinny kids who are trying desperately to get something to eat or go to the bathroom or something.. so please how does it end. I'm at the edge of my seat!
