Go to Sound Lab, then Art of War, look for the post about an Estimate, the guy asks this VERY question, so how does it feel for YA'LL to be fulla shit?

My name on there is TinasHusband incase you are wondering

Well, like I said, it's an easy answer:

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

MP

p.s. How are you recovering from the gear theft? You still haven't posted your previous gear list so we can make suggestions.

hey, if that studio stuff is still for sale, I'll give the guy $20,000.00 for everything including the ssl board and the mic locker. I figure after 3 years that stuff ain't worth crap right? isn't that how it works? esepcially the tube mics, who wants tube junk when transformerless fet mics are soooooooooo much cleaner??

Seriously, I'll go to the bank right now...

;-)

hey shakes, you left the Telefunken 251 tube mic off of the top of the list

that's gotta add at LEAST another 10 G's to the total

idiot

The Fender Rhodes Piano is readily available on Ebay -- with enough folks selling them that competition is fine.

very true, I've got two of them!

The youth section of my church has a random Rhodes just sitting backstage. And Big Church (adult section) has a random B-3 just sitting in a closed-off backstage hallway. But then, my church has two stages, a green room, and more mics than is really fair at all.

Pro Tools-48ch (Pro Tools HD available on request)

this kind of gave it away that it was a cut copy list from someones studio

This was also from 2003 so we have to allow for cost increases

You will all probably be happy to know that the studio from which this list was hijacked is still kicking and has since increased it's gear list so now is even better stocked (including the Telefinken 251). The good is also that if you decide that this is not enough equipment for you, this is just "studio B" and there is a bunch of other equipment that can be used to augment this setup.

yeah, and this question gets asked about 3-4 times per week on most boards during certain times of the year.

mostly by people who are doing this for some kind of assignment...

FWIW you're asking for the pricing on several items which can have special configurations or haven't been made in several years.

Best of all, this is obviously a list for a dedicated studio, not something for home recording. Save for myself and a few who roam the boards and do this professionally, you're not going to get much of an answer.

my advice, use Froogle

This reminds me of that Braddon fellow, remeber the loser posing as a studio owner. LOL
What a douche.
