How many of you use vocal booths?

Currently, I have a few blankets draped over one side of the room for me to record the vocals there, but it's kinda like what Pinachi said. If I screw up, I gotta pull the sheets over and run over to stop it and so on. I was lookin' for a Red Rover but couldn't find one used.

I'm currently saving up for some Auralex foam. Until then, I just use my home recorded vocals as a test and take the serious stuff to a real studio for the vocals and final mixdown.

I used to have a vocal booth @ my apartment, but now @ the house, I haven't got a chance to put one up, it'll be a vocal booth w/ a control room. The mixing room will be some where else, don't know where yet. Right now all i got is a whole bunch of stuff in my room & foam in scattered places on the wall.

i use my closet. just filled w/ sneakers and clothes, jackets, some sleeping bags way up on top, haha..... i'd much rather have a dedicated area like Change has, but mine works. everyone says it sounds "studio".
