How many guitar amps?

Yeah, amplifiers, unfortunately, take up a bit more floor space than guitars. Otherwise I'd have a bunch more than I do have.

Marshall JCM800 2204 half stack
Gibson GA-5 "Crestline" Skylark (x2)
Magnatone Varsity
Silvertone 1470
Vox AD15VT
Epiphone 101
Orange Crush 15
Unknown single 6V6 practice amp
Epiphone Valve Jr.
Knox 701
"Smokey Amp" (that counts, right?)
1950's "AC/DC" practice amp (not the band, but rather the types of current)

That's 13, listed in rough order of preference (which isn't accurate, since I prefer different ones for different sounds). Most of them are pretty small, though.

Here's my updated list.

Tube Amps:
62' Fender 6G6-A Blonde Bassman Head
64' Fender Vibroverb PTP Repro w/Torres Gain Mod
65' Fender Super Reverb PTP Repro
65' Fender Blonde Twin Reverb (Conversion)
66' Fender Pro Reverb

86' Boogie MKIII Simul-Class loaded
Red Stripe combo
96' Marshall JCM 900 100W Hi-Gain Dual Reverb
07' Sewell Texaverb 25 load w/ G12H30
07' Sewell Blistertone 35 Head
08' Brown Note D'Lite 44 "ODE" Head

Solid State Amps:
85' Gallien - Krueger ML 250
86' Gallien - Krueger Ml 250
88' Gallien - Krueger Backline 100
99' Yamaha DG-80 112-A combo
00' Marshall AVT-20

If the first option was 0-3 instead of 1-3, I would choose that since I don't have a real guitar amp. But, since I do have Guitar Rig 2 and my monitors I chose the option 1-3 anyways just to see what everybody else have. I'm thinking about getting a real amp soon, possibly a used one.:D

Cheers

Wow, where do you keep them all?

I have a 66 Bassman Blkface and 65 Twin Reverb.

I've got more than I need: my '63 Sears Silvertone Twin Twelve 1484 that I paid $40 for in 1974 (try to beat THAT for a deal), a modified Pignose G40V with an Eminence speaker I use as a harp amp, a Fender Jazzmaster Ultralight that's the Super Reverb of the 21st Century (I mean, I really like it) and the last, a Fender Hot Rod Blues Jr NOS that will shortly get a Weber Beam Blocker and a Ruby Reverb (the parts are on the desk in front of me).

Can't sell the Twin Twelve: too cool, I still play through it regularly, and I still love it...but it's a what, 45 year old particle board case, weighs a ton, and the reverb is ridiculous sounding.

The Pignose will probably go on the block soon, especially if the local music shop gets something in that I can trade it on. Nonetheless, I will install a Beam Blocker on it as well, the expense being minimal.

The Jazzmaster is a perfect match for my Les Paul Deluxe: I'll keep this one for a long time, which is how long I plan to keep the LP.

The FHRBJNOS (looks about as silly as it ought to, like that) has a tweed cabinet, and is perfect for my blond Sheraton II. I play the combination at church when we do electric music.

I keep them along both sides & back wall of my home studio. Here's picks of the side walls. I didn't take a pick of the back wall of amps.

Peavey Max 126, Peavey TransTube 100, Peavey Valve King 50, Roland Cube 15, Mesa Big Block Titan V12 (thus one part of my screen name)
and the Crate V33 H.
Since I am big on sound reinforcement I have a rather large collection of power amps though.

EDIT: OH Crap, I totally forgot about the Ashdown Super Fly and perfect 10 head and cab

I have too many amps (that's what Overkill is all about !)
1. Fender 65 DRRI - put in new 3-spring Reverb Tank & Emminence Speaker
2. Peavey Classic 30 - new 3-spring Tank, Vintage 30 & cooling fan
3. Boogie Studio .22 - Celestion G80, reverb sucks big time
4. Peavey TransTube Supreme Head - run thru generic 2x12 cabinet
5. Fender BluesJr - Celestion Greenback, Accutronics replacement Tank
6. Marshall - 15watt practice amp
7. Carvin Master Tube 100w 212 combo - just sold it

All I need is one more amp ! :)
