Hey, everyone. While I still feel I have plenty to complain about in terms of performance :(, I spent some time dialing in my vocal preamp and I feel that on our newest tune, I may have made some progress in terms of improving our general vocal production tone.

Please take a listen to "No Rainbows" at http://www.mp3.com/30SoS and let me know what you think of the vox, as well as the rest of the mix, the song, the performances, etc. Much thanks!

Very cool, good song. Not much to say, I could use a bit more vocals, sounds great:cool:

Thanks for the input, David. So the vocal tone sounds okay, the volume's just low...? That's easy enough. :)

Anyone else have any thoughts on the vox (or guitars, or mix, or song, etc.)?

P.S. By the way, David, I've heard (odd and disturbing) rumors about the infamous "Cleveland Steamer", but never officially heard what it is. Can you enlighten me (without breaking any obscenity rules of the board)?

Vocals come through very nicely and sit very well in the mix!
