The PCM-70 is more expensive than the MPX-500, but I can get a PCM-70 for about 600 bucks in Sweden. Is that a good deal. I'm looking for a good reverb. I've heard the reverbs are great on both units. But wich one of those are best?

Well, try it for yourself.

Lexicon is never going to be a bad choice. You'll defenitly know you'll have no problem selling the unit after a while, because the word Lexicon works like magic when selling stuff. on the otherhand, why would you want to sell a lexicon?

I have worked with the PCM60, 80 and 90. They all sounded great in my ears.
The 70 will be of no exeption.

The REV500 did never please my ears. I find it a rather cheapish sounding reverb unit. I actually have that problem with most normal yamaha effects. (except the REV5..killer unit !)

Anyway, just my opinion.
