Dude, that chord progression comprises about half of all Blink 182 songs. Cool if your just working on recording and mixing and such, but the song writing doesn't exhibit very thoughtful or original composition.
 
are we just critiquing the mixing/recording? I see what you mean about the drums... there is something very generic about them... the bass could come up i think. Some parts just don't line up with the guitar exactly. I would like to hear what the vocal/melody line sounds like as i cannot get a mental picutre of the song yet. The bass was mixed well i though. A bit to much ride cymbal for me as well. good guitar tone.
post another draft when you are done.
 
I do not believe those are real drums.... there is no way man. Not a hope. The cymbals dont sound real at all.
 
I would be willing to bet all of my recording gear that those are not real drums.

Maybe he meant that the real drums come later after all of those fake drums. That must be it! I just didn't listen long enough.
 
Artificial skins/brass...Sound that way to me...
