How does my soundcard rate??

I have a Ceative Soundblaster PCI 64v that came with my system. Is it good enough to start me on the path of home recording, and at what point should I start to think about a new one?

It'll work for you but it's limited to 16 bits and it's kinda noisy but as it's been proven time and again, it ain't what you got, it's what you do with it.
