hey i was just wondering if anybody knows how to burn a cubase or nuendo project to a disk so that i can open it up on a friends computer that also has cubase and nuendo , for further mixing? thnx
When you made the song or whatever it saved all that stuff to a folder couldnt you in theory just burn the whole folder with the cubase session in it and than open it on another computer? Ive never atempted that but I would give it a try I know you can do that useing CEP but I never tried it with cubase.
Just burn the whole song folder so that the header file and the edits folder is included as well. If the system you are moving it to does not have all the same plug-ins though it will not load those. If you are using cubase or Nuendo 3.0 or higher ( if the system you are moving it to that is) then it will load a dummy plugin for those plugins that are missing.
Easiest way to do it is to use the "Save project to new folder" option - this will ensure that only the files you need get copied to this new directory - then simply burn said directory to CD/DVD. Make sure if you're using any plugins that your friend has them on their system too!
