Ah yes, another case of the end justifying the means and of the theif telling the victim that they know what's better for the victim than the victim does.Duncandeath said:If my friend had not illegally download a album of one of my favourite bands and if I had not illegally ripped it off him, i would not of even heard of them never mind buying their latest release and go to see them live on many an occasion.
If there wasn't so many people downloading instead of buying, the record companies would invest more money into promotion (like they used to) and you would have heard about that band. As it is, new bands are now just getting between $2000 and $5000 to make their first album with. This is down from around $10000 to $15000 just 4 years ago. I'm talking labels like Metal Blade, Nuclear Blast, etc...Duncandeath said:Just to make a small point to who ever was talking about song downloads. Perhaps you can take one from Duncandeath's garage once he gets "loaded."acidrock said:I want a Mercedes, but I can't afford one.Could somebody tell me where I could steal one?![]()
it's kinda a sad reality
a band that, ten years ago, would have been forced to come to terms with the fact they sucked upon going into the studio now can put out a non-linear edited, pitch corrected piece of glossy shit.
it's easier than practicing for years, or admitting that you suck.
the process of making an album is loosing some of the "crap filtering" property that it used to have.
but i'm not telling anyone here anything they don't know.
i don't was just wondering if there are any other features missing apart from that one.
sorry dachay no Mercedes in my garage only 1 jag 2 porch and 5 ferrari's
This is a three year old thread guys.![]()
Not only that, he has TWO of them. One goes up, and the other goes down.I am wondering why he has a porch in his garage.
