Hello! How would I transfer my analog recording to a computer?
Here are the things I have: Teac A-3340S, Tascam M-208, A computer, MBox 2 mini, Protools 7.0, Audacity, and various RCA cables.

what if I connect through the headphone jack a 1/4 stereo > 1/8 jack connection. Then connect it to my computer

That would work, but the sound quality will be poor.

What would be the best way to transfer the audio? Any other ways that wouldn't have poor sound quality?

Using a firewire or USB interface is really the best way to do it on a budget.

I'm unfamiliar with the options that are available for PCs, but you can also get a really nice sound card with good audio inputs.

I use the Alesis io26.

M-208-->MBox 2 mini-->Protools.
You could send the M-208 stereo outputs into the 2 MBox inputs, either with XLR-to-1/4" or RCA-to-1/4" cables, and it also looks like the M-208 has 1/4" outputs, so you could use those as well. Sounds like you have the RCA-to-1/4" so that's easy..

If you want to run all 4 PGM outputs of the M-208 into your computer at the same time and record to 4 separate tracks in protools, you'll need a different device than the mbox 2 mini, something with at least 4 inputs, like the Alesis model mentioned above or the digidesign 002 rack, or a number of other devices.

Hope that helps
