In my room, the prime rule is, "no food or liquids." Pet wise, cats were banned decades ago when I found 1 pulling cables from the back of my patch bay. Over the years, all but 1 of my many dogs took an interest in the studio and she was very respectful of gear.

My cat Sun-Sun , liked to climb the speaker cabinets downstairs, they were the 'cat towers'. 18 years.

I've got a bag of treats that will make me his best buddy!
They worked wonders with the neighbor's dogs. Now they bark when they see me, until I go get their treats. Then it's a bee line to the fence, and a paw up to greet me.
