how do you get more REP power

ohh, it is all starting to make a little more sense.
 
Rep points

In theory Rep points are great. When used in the intended manner by mature, stand-up individuals they can be a valuable feedback tool and can help keep forum behavior in line.

UN-fortunately I learned yesterday (I should have known this sooner but frankly I never checked or cared about rep points) that there are a few individuals who choose to anonymously give bad feedback points for emotional reasons.

I received an anonymous negative rep point and negative comments for posting a critique in the MP3 Clinic.....the whole Strave/Bear Mix thread.

That is just plain silly folks.

I agree that thw whole rep thing has gotten out of hand. It used to be that if someone had good rep you knew that they gave good advice, but now you can't be sure how they got their rep
