how do you get more REP power

not posting in the wrong place (ex:equiptment forum) when your asking somthing thats should be asked in the vistor or newbie forum. people will gi ve you good points when you contribute to the conversation and they feel you deserve some points-good or bad.

so I am still confused about how the little chicklets work. Some people who have insane rep power only have 2 chicklets while others with less rep power haev more chicklets. Does anybody know how this works?
 
I have the same question patang12. you hav 2 chicklets adn 2 rep adn some hav 6 rep and only 3 chicklets.

??? You have 0 rep power and 1 chicklet. At least thats what it looks like to me.
 
I also have another question about rep. It seems that some people can give rep to the same person almost every day. After I give rep it takes a really long time for me to be able to give it to someone else again. It think it might have to do with your rep power/ signup date/ post count but I am not sure. Then again why do I really care? :D :D :D :D
 
The longer you have been a member= higher rep power
the amount of post = higher rep power
for every 100 rep points= 1 chicklet and can boost your rep power
and then player hater Jake-owa will give you a bad rep point for being in certain threads...
 
The question is, why would anybody want more rep power? Have they spent all their life searching for approval and support?

I never understood why the hell you should want more? It's not like it does you any good. Just a silly way of measuring your dick while adding to the cunfusion. I think people are smart enough to remember the names of the people who has good things to say.

Feel free to put my rep on negative for this post.

Ok, but blue bear has 17 rep power and only two chicklets. He has like 11,000 posts too. How does that work?
 
Somebody or some people are giving me bad rep every day now, like clockwork. The REP points thing has turned a game.

I agree that we remember who is most helpful without needing reputation points.

Obviously he posts alot but some people don't like what he says so he gets negative feedback.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure posting a rep point thread in one of the equipment forums probly isn't going to help your rep at all. :D
