So I'm looking to buy an Emu interface, an Asus/Core2 computer, and Cubase
SE3. How do I check to see if they would be compatible?
Thanks

Pentium / Athlon 800 MHz (Recommended: Pentium / Athlon 2.8 GHz or faster)

384 MB RAM (Recommended: 512 MB RAM)

Windows XP Home or XP Professional

Display resolution 1024 x 768 pixels (Recommended: Display Resolution 1152 x 864 pixels, dual monitor setup)

Windows MME compatible audio hardware

ASIO compatible audio hardware recommended

DVD-ROM drive

USB component port for copy protection key

Internet Connection required for upgrade license authorization

I think you are well over the requirements

Sorry, I'm not making myself clear. It is my understanding that certain interfaces and certain software/sequencers are not compatible with certain chipsets and/or motherboards.

Only ProTools is picky about what it runs on. You have to go to Digidesign to find out what their software is compatible with.

Everything else hooks into the basic operating system, not specific hardware (unless the product SPECIFICALLY says so...)
