How do the drums sound?
This is the first time I used only 3 mics on drums.

The setup is
KEL HM-1 32 inches above the center of the snare
KEL HM-1 32 inches from the center of snare over the right hand sholder of drummer
Superlux PRA-218b inside of kick drum with a 15 inch hole in the center of the front head

The O/H are panned hard left and hard right.
Kich up the center.
No EQ, compression, or FX's.

A band that I was helping out played a few shows at some H/S in WNY.

Sound good, clear and crisp. I like how there is a large sense of "space", it doesn't feel cluttered. I like it!!

yeah i've got a pair of hm-1's too love em on overheads, they got a lot of bottom end meat which is great for the toms
