LOL When I started making some MP3 files for the first time a couple of months ago I tried them all.
I have a a couple of really good conversion program on my main system, but that is on a Mac OS and not on connected to the net, so I wanted to do it on the PC. Went about it in my usual anal way, downloaded about 6 programs, converted 2 songs on all 6, then cut all of them to a disk, and went into the control room to listen to the results.
Musicmatch was the clear winner.
Some programs out there are HORRIBLE!!!! eeewwwwwwwwww!
If I remember right, the one you are using is not bad either, but still not as good.
We've just ordered Bias Peak 2.5 which apparently has a very good MP3 conversion. I'm looking forward to seeing how that stacks up against musicmatch.
If you try musicmatch, tell me what you think.
