How do I make this drum pattern? Tribal? What is this?

I love the percussions on these songs, but I can't get the drum pattern/percussions right on this. I've been searching for tutorials but have found nothing. Did these producers most likely just use a drum sample already made or would this be something you could do from scratch? How do I make this?! Is there a name for this type of drum pattern because 'tribal house' doesn't come up with the same result.

Latin percussion? EZDrummer has an expansion pack for that. Keyboard synths might have a few patches if you want to tap it out on a keyboard. Or, go to the store and buy congas, bongos, and timbales.
