How 2 b #1 on Soundclick????

My main purpose for even having soundclick was a place to store my beat samples and not have to worry about file size or disk space like I would have to on my website. When I can pay for the site, this won't be as much of a problem.
 
Forget sound click you know who wants your music. The college campus that's where you will find where the underground fan base exist and when I say underground I mean those who dont have anything on constant rotation on main radio stations. Thats what I do out here in norfolk and have sold more CDs and made more profits than soundclick could have brought me. I thought a few times about selling beats but really I got some pretty good clients who I can work with face to face and alot of times it has worked out better. One thing that soundclick can do than anything is networking with folks you couldnt from around the way because they arent from around your way.
Being apart of a site like this you can learn things that you wouldnt have normally which is pretty nice. So put your music on there get some feedback fix it then hit up a campus near you.
 
How to get heard on soundclick...

I hate to say it but a lot of the top soundclick beats are just disgusting...I especially hate how people seem addicted to sampled beats -- I mean its cool when done properly, but it seems for the most part you can make any crappy beat, throw a sample on, and people will play the shit out of it. I got to #11 with mine Valentino(US) -- "MY GUN" and i didnt do ANYTHING special like pay for banners or whatever. People still email about that one (been on since november!) So i say if exposure is what youre after, put at least 1 sampled beat on your page (there is also a benefit to this because many people who visit the page bcuz of it will listen to other beats that they might not have otherwise!)
