Is there a way to hook a power mixer to a mixer board and if there is how do you do it b/c i have no clue whatsoever please help me someone

Why would you want to do that? For routing? You have to say what boards you're talking abou to get a good answer?

Um...are you talking about one of those Mixer/Amp combo box's?

If thats the case, the outputs are for speakers, i think you might get a "shock" if you tried plugging them into a mixer.

Does you mixer have like aux outputs or something other then just speaker outs?

asdfjkl;

well i seen a band perform and had something like that where i seen they had both a mixer board and powerd mixer and the were both hooked up and then the power amp and the speakers etc. i would like to know how they did all that

There are a number of ways that would be useful.
1. more inputs. Hook the outputs of the mixer into 2 of the inputs on the powered mixer to gain channels while still using the powered mixers amps to drive the speakers.

2. monitoring. Use the mixer for the mains, hooked to a power amp then the main speakers. take an aux send from the mixer and run it into the powered mixer to run the monitors.

3. any other combination you could think of. there is no right way to do this, it sounds like someone creatively trying to put together what they have lying around to do what they need without having to buy the equipment to do it 'right'.
