Ok all you newbs, I just wanted to let you know about HomeRecording.Comp Volume II. It is a 3 CD set (real CD's, no cheap CDR crap) containing 40 tracks from all your favorite stars of the Mixing Clinic here.

If this project is something you'd like to be involved with in the future, then I recommend starting now by buying your very own copy :)

Pictures, info, and online ordering can be found here:

P.S. - no you don't have buy this thing to get a track on the next one...the project has always been open to all active members. But, buying one now ensures that the BBS and project will still be here when it comes time for Volume III!

Why haven't I heard of this until now? Does n-e 1 else know about this? How come nobody bothered to advertise this??

Have you thought about trying to sell it on CD Baby?

Oh wait, they're now only taking $4...hmm, not too bad.

Might as well, ya know? Even if it's a marginal profit.....

I would just like to point out that SM2K has a wonderfully great original song on this CD.

And to all who would buy it, you will not be disappointed, out of the three disks, there are quite a few great, good and decent songs to be enjoyed.

BRAVO SLACKMASTER !!!

The ants is tool cool for words !!!!

Shakey,

Your link is bad... the web server is case-sensitive, no doubt.

It should be:

http://www.helensventitsky.com/NEWS.htm

though it's better to tell people to go to the site

http://www.helensventitsky.com/

and choose "News" from the menu. Otherwise your site is not being viewed the way you want it to be, and there's no navigation available to a visitor.

You are also making a bunch of other mistakes, like linking from a "framed" page to an external website but loading it inside your frame rather in the full browser window. This is the kind of thing that makes people stay away from using frames and why people like AudioWebs pontificate that "no real web developer uses frames any more" (spoken with a pronounced sneer). :)

I'll email you some more on this... plus I'll try to listen to your tune today sometime...

I'm pretty sure you can play these at 78rpm with a small enough stylus.
