Homemade Schmaltz

I'd welcome any comments on this mix. It's all multitracked and mixed in Sonar 4 with about 12 tracks running. I think I'm happy with it but I would like to make it better.

The other song is a Christmas song and its about about 10 years old but I dust it off every December and poeople still love it. You all might enjoy it.

i'm a newbie out here, but i saw no one had given you a listen yet...

not entirely my cup of tea, but i do hear your clapton influence (i think) in the vocals. the acoustic solo sounds a little 'tinny' and sounds like a bit of feedback towards the end of the high notes.

i'm not a piano player, but i suppose the song is arranged well enough. keep it up, things will come along.

Thanks for the input. I am working on the mechanics of mixing (mastering later) so I am praticing re-recording some of my older stuff. I'll do some newer things when I get a grip on how some of the pro's here record and mix.
