What is a good INTERFACE to work with RODE NT1A MIC?
A good MIXER? A good AUDIO SOFTWARE?
A good MIC PREAMP?
Im looking for a good set up to do VOICE OVER.
I dont have thousands of dollars to spend, U$250 a piece.
Can someone give me some information? Thanks.

Had you not started off with a Rode NT1A I might have suggested a Azden SGM-1X shotgun or a Shure SM7B but going forward with what we have...

  • INTERFACE

You did not mention if you are using a PC (IBM compat) or a Macintosh (I know nothing about Unix variants where recording is concerned). If Mac I'd say Apogee Duet, if PC SoundDevices USBPre.
    .
  • MIXER

    You don't need one.
    .
  • AUDIO SOFTWARE

Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio or Sound Forge Pro if you can swing it.
    .
  • MIC PREAMP

Should be included with the A/D/A interface, if not consider the M-Audio DMP-3

You didn't mention headphones but consider the MoreMe Deluxe

You may also need to have one of these
