if what those guys are saying is in a foregin language and you are truely a first timer than go to ebay and get a roland vs 880 digital workstation. a great box for first timers and i think its around $500

If you want mine, I'll throw in my 250mb Zip drive and some zip disks! Then you'll have enough left over for an AudioBuddy mic pre and a couple of mics!

I've got the 880.. it's a nice box.. very neat.. but it really depends on what you're doing. It works for my needs.
