I dinna what your takkin aboot, but I doubt a 57 year old salmon is a Shure thing. And I am glad you guys stopped talking pig latin cause I was having to turn my head sideways to read it. Now I am car sick and I am not even in a car. You guys should get off the swine and eat beef. Course, then you might get mad cows disease. Anyway you should try this and then go on the Survivor show.
Beef Jerky
1 beef flank steak (1 to 1/2 pounds)*
Soy Sauce
Garlic salt
Pepper
Freeze steak partially for easy slicing. Trim off all visible fat. Using a sharp knife, cut the flank steak, WITH THE GRAIN, into strips approximately 1/8-inch wide and the length of the steak. Dip strips into soy sauce and place them flat and close together on a wire rack or racks, and place over a shallow pan. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt and pepper. Turn and sprinkle other side. "Bake" in very slow oven, 140 degrees(F) to 150 degrees(F) for 8 to 10 hours or until dried and chewy. It should dry out, not cook. Store in tightly covered container.
*Use round steak as a substitute for flank
p.s. works good with deer meat too, but i don't like eating deer.
