i posted this in the hip hop forum and got no resposes, so i'll try it here.



i did all the beats and the recording/mixing. the rappers are some friends of mine.

now begin to tear it apart!

In the Hip Hip forum, they'd say this sounds "white". I found it funny though, pretty sweet production too.
 
it was enjoyable in that it used a well known riff thingy.
the rapper has very convincing conviction in his voice.

Nothing in the song inclines me to listen more than twice though. The two listens were real fun though.
I see a lot of potential once the artist grasps the concept of the wildcard.

The kick sound is too hyperspastic...kinda like the white freaks who are trying to rap here.
Reminds me of the Bloodhound Gang...kinda funny.
 
sounds pretty good.. sorta funny.. reminds me of this dude 'shackrock' that posts here.. his band, not the band he records.. I'll be posting some hip hop eventually.. it's not humorous like this though..
 
I'm gonna be bloody honest here.

The music just plain sucks, kinda like Dance Dance Revolution if you know what I mean, it barely made any progress from begining to end.

the rappers are ok, but obviously they just wrote out the lyrics and jumpped onto the mic without much practice, and no arrangemnt has been done on their parts also.

now, don't get me wrong, I'm not some country old fart who refuses to accept new stuff, I'm still in college, and I do make rap tracks with friends from time to time, but this is just really rough without much efforts put in.
