I'm trying to listen but Soundfuck isn't letting me stream or download///I'm e-mailing those arseholes...I suggest you do the same, that site goes down more than a groupie without a backstage pass, it pisses me off.

this is cool man, ignoring the pops and clicks offcourse :)
I think the organ is a tad to loud in the opening intro.
you know when the car starts :D

other than that cool playing man, specially cool the harmony stuff you pulled out in the middle of the guitar solo

Hey thanks man :) Yeah I was hoping to get some tips on the levels cause I wasn't sure. Or at least listen to it with a fresh ear tomorrow. I'll try lowering that intro a bit.

So the levels sound good on the rest of the song?

Soundclick is turning evil on us  I'll email them too, I've had problems like half the time I've tried to do anything there the last week

The organ sounds great....but guys, I don't want to sound like an egotistical asshole...but I can't hear the drums for the life of me....Listen to Deep Purple and then listen to what we did...can you tell me the drums are there??? Sorry...don't want to sound like a selfish fucker, but I'm showing the tune to friends and they're looking at me like I just landed on earth from Mars...I can' t hear them either...but maybe it's just us. Anyway...the keys and guits and vocals sound great.

Thanks Mr. Rami! :D about the organ

But hey guys, I got a new version up without the drum track

& About the drums, well maybe Mr. home recording bigshot should just show his friends the drum track then, huh? Just kidding of course!!
:p :p About the "new version" too. Maybe we could get Naka Airlines to bump the drums some. Good point about the original.

I could send you that keyboard part Nak for mixing (as soon as I stop that clicking in the background... GRRRRRR  )

Yeah that sounds like a good Idea, If you send me the organ track I can mix it in as good as I can... :)

and boost the drums offcourse, "sky`s the limit with naka airlines"

Motto; fly with us and you`ll never see ground again" :D

Cool ;)

Hmmm... do I take that as "I won't make it, the plane is GUARANTEED to crash" or "the plane flies around forever, traveling to distant galaxies and exploring the vast amount of other planets/creatures out there who none of possess 'ground' on their planet"??? hmmm..

I`ll have to come back at you with that info, our navigator is currently missing, he went hiking with a map and some acid :D

Disregard my last alcohol-induced post. I'm ususally a good drunk, I think yesterday was an exception. I was ok until a couple of friends started teasing me about not being able to hear the drums. By the end of the night, it was the running joke. One guy "Hey, I can't find my keys, where the hell are my keys???" Other guy "They must be with Rami's drums". You know, that kind of thing. So I'm sorry...we're just doing this for fun anyway, what the hell was my problem???

No probs ;) Just sounded like you were joking around, same with me in the next post... so you can disregard that too. And great point, this is all for fun :D I lose sight of that sometimes in recording then have to remind myself. Then things are back to good old normal in the studio and I look JUST LIKE the picture below.

It's my theory that music always turns out better when you have fun doing it ;)

Dont worry about it man, its no problem.
I know what you mean, and personally I symphesize with ya, you put some very good work into both playing and sound of your drums and they get lost "just like your`e friends keys :D ".

Off course you wouldent want that to happened :) :)

Super bump! :D

Naka and I were PMing about this but I think it slipped our mind :) and Rami's post about the drum track reminded me...

Here's the new mix I did tonight, it has:
- much much more Rami drums
- slightly less me on synth
- but with me on a brand new synth, a very similar sound to the beginning of Deep Purple's "Perfect Strangers" (but it's hard to tell in the mix)
- more bass
- and few minor details

How's the new mix? Is there anything I can still improve?

I enjoyed listening to this song. However! However, now when I'm using those drum tracks, I'm thinkin that I'm automatically gonna be in the back of my mind trying to play the same tune. That's why I can't listen to it too many times. I was trying to use those drum tracks to come up with something cool to go along.

However, the guitar and the directly linked AMP input only leaves me with one sound. Always! :)

Oh well, better than not having a guitar, I guess. :)

Cool mix man, I'm just gettin online, and its quite slow over here...
But it was a nice mix snake.
I did this song live with a filipino cover band on saturday, man that rocked. :)

that's great... really enjoyed it...

bring up the bass at the beginning... I missed that run

I'm still listening

man, beef up those leads...

I'm near the end... nice riffing...

great going... that was fun :)

Listened to the version in the first post. Wow, this is cool. Tight drums, manic guitars and vox sounds like you mic'd them at 120 MPH (I mean that in a good way, heh-heh). At 4:05 is that the vocal doubling the guitar line? Sounds like it. Super cool and very intense. I'm going to put this on CD and give it to my wife to keep in her car. She loves to blast wild music while ripping around corners in her souped up convertible.
