Cool tune guys. Very modern, while maintaining the original feel for this tune. Sweet.

Awesome vocals Nak...I didn't know if or when this would be finished. Fucking cool, man. the leads are fucking killer. True to the original...and you , my friend are an incredible singer...Not an easy task to do Ian Gillan and you did an awesome job...the bass playing is solid as hell hell.. Mr. Glover would be proud. Coll shit!!!!

man this rocks! I love this! This has to be one of the coolest tunes out there and you did a great job... so yeah, this rocks! :D If anything, I think you should raise your voice in the mix a bit though...

You're missing the synth sound at the beginning... I'm setting up my synth for total 70s action... let me know if anybody needs synth in their songs, cause I'm going to be addicted :D

Anyway... your leads are cool.. this rocks.. I think I already said that, but hey.. what can I say...it does!

Thanks for the comments guys, it was a pleasure to play after those well recorded drums...
I Know I had an exelent time recording it after the massive hangover I know have :D

Thanks for the comments on my singing, it wasent easy it was really tough singing yesterday, as I have come down with a slight cold that really bugs my throat, hence no attempt on those opening scream.
Sorry about that, will not make it a habbit missing screams like that.

SnakeDog if you wanna do some synths on this, go ahead I`d be obliged.
Feel free to join in on the jam :)

again thank you guys..

Drums are sweet...

very well done, but I gotta have those synths though, especially in the intro. I will check back after Snakedog does his thang...

Synths? Jon Lord pretty much used a B3 exclusively. Ah, I see...you're talking about that distorted organ. Right, barely sounds like a B3 because of the distortion, I guess it could seem like a synth.

I once had a distorted organ. Than I decided to stop tugging without using cream....Those calluses are murder.

Sounds fat. Who's doing what and how was it tracked?

Ok lets see;; I was drunk when posting this so I might have left out a lot.

But here we go;;

Drums; are done by Rami, I`m sure he can comment on how he recorded the drums :)

Bass; was recorded by me, played by a friend of me, it was miked with a b52. Fender presscission\Laney bass amp

Guitars; were all miked with a sm57, I :o Played all of em :D Fender Strat\Mesa stack

Vox; are done by me, and they were recorded through a Mxlv67g...

I used a Presonus firepod to track these parts...

hope this cleares up a bit.

and thanks for posting and asking :)

I was assuming he ment the organ sound in his synth\keyboard :)

But maybe a synth could work
I love the B3 on this tune though, I chickened out trying to play that part. :)

Hell yeah...

if Snakedog has a B3, then use that! ;)

Cool :D I'll get right on this later today and try to get a sound as close as I can to the original and see what you guys think.

Not exactly...

But I do have a synth keyboard with a plugin that has a B3 preset ;) Don't know if that cuts it yet, but I'll mess around with the settings and see if I can get close.

Use a B3 sound through some distortion. That's pretty much what Mr. Lord was doing.

But I think its up on running now, for as long as it lasts

Yeah...soundclick is starting to annoy me.

Anyway...great cover. That song sounds like it would be a really fun tune to jam. Brings back memories. Very nice recording.
