Wow!!! Thanks guys....much appreciated.
Joey...thanks for the props and listen man, I appreciate it.
Rayc....Thanks man....I'll see about fixing that guitar part. I think I just didn't turn up the volume quite quick enough as it came in. The solo started a bit early, so I did a fade in, and it may heve been to slow. Thanks again.
Fishmed....thanks man...When I get back home, I'm going to re-work the drums, or ask Bulls Hit to maybe do a mix, and see if we can get a better drum sound. Solo, the yare killer, but take up so much sound-space, I've had trouble getting them the way I want them...Heavy.
I'm gonna try what you suggested, and see if I can get them sounding better. Thanks man.
Tim...Thanks man....now, explain a bit more about the vox thing...I think I know what you mean, but no being a singer, I have trouble with vox..
Are you saying to maybe not follow the guitar stops quite so closely? (trail a bit long, or cut a bit short..) I can easily redo this part. I've thought of adding a lowe, and quieter vocal line in there, that was barely heard, and may try that. Give me some specifics, so I can try something different. I need to think outside my own little box....
And thanks man, really appreciate the help.
Amra, thanks man. The tone is from a mix of direct and mic'd guitars. My amp seems to really bite in the bottom end, so I used the direct guitar to fill that out a bit.
Thanks again.
