Hi everyone, very pleased I found you. I am retired and have time for that home recording studio at last. I worked just about all my life in the music trade. A long time with Peavey in the Uk. Finally ending up wholesaling stuff like Behringer, Shure and other names. I managed and owned a store also for many years.

Gigs mainly in the 70s and 80s but again a few odd ones after that. My likes are wide but I guess i am looking at recording funk, jazz, reggae and more arpeggiator type stuff.

So far I have a Korg bx3 and a Korg pa900. Rt223 Zoom drum machine. Likely to be adding a Boss or Alesis drum machine and a Yamaha work station that allows me to use the Karma software. The rest of the gear will be based on me bending all you folks ears in further posts.

WARNING I have a lot to gleen from you experienced people. Thanks for reading ,Graham

Welcome Graham...
there's lots of good info here. Take a look at a lot of the stickies here and also the search function is pretty decent.
This whole recording thing is like eating an elephant...one bite at a time.
:)

Just added another drum machine. a Boss Dr 800. Nice bit of kit. Looking like I will be adding a Yamaha keyboard that is Karma compatible. Not going to use my computer for nixing so thinking about a Tascam dp 32.
