HI! Ths is my first post, and since I'm not sure where to post it, I'm putting it here. If you know where I should have posted it, that would be nice to know. :D

So here is my question, I need to record guitar on fruity loops and add it into a song/loop that I've already made. I have no problem recording things into fruity loops.I already know how. The problem is, i can't get the beat/drums to play WITH my guitar that I've recorded. (recorded into edsion)

More insight for you--I have a guitar hooked into an AMP, the amp is live mic'd with a USB mic. The mic is connected to my computer, and i record into Edison with fruity loops 8.

fixed?

so if anyone stumbles accross this and is having the same problem i had...heres what i did to fix it--if anyone knows another way of fixing it, please post.

1. go to the mixer
2. select one of the inserts (preferably not the master...or it may not work)
3. select and pick Edison in one of the FX slots (along the right)
4. select the input (top right) for this insert and choose your microphone
5. select the output ( bottom right) and choose your asio/prefered sound driver
**6. deselect the "track send enable switch". At the very bottom above the FX and DISK/SAVE TO buttons.

NOTE: no matter which insert you have selected, the "track send to switch" will always be on the MASTER insert

My new question is this:: if you record audio using the edison...how do you put it into the playlist? can you do this? i know you can put your recorded audio into the playlist by recording as an audio clip...but can you stil do this if you record into edison?

incase anone stumbles upon this looking for the answer to these questions---furthest right button on edison, click the button and drag it to the play list---dont try dragging the wav form like you do with the other 'plugins'

new question--is there anyway to increase the volume on the recorded audio in edison without using the "master volume"?

WOW Master Mac you have singlehandedly found the solution to all of your problems!

Welcome to the forum ~ it's good to have bright newbies here. ;)

Answer to last question:

Envelopes. If that is supported in FL or Edison.
