first question is an M-audio 410 cans help me to record, is that better than my mixer directly on pc?
-- YES
Which is the difference?

You know I would chime in here but I can't figure out what the heck anybody is talking about. :D

JCM900 = my amp SM57 to Lexicon U42S to USB computer to Sonar

audio interfaces are better.

why?.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

The stock soundcard in your computer is typically of extremely low quality and not made for making clean recordings. Kinda like recording voice notes with your cellphone .

about a good starting soundcard external?
I'm thinking about M-audio 410. (I have also a creative 5.1 sound system is there any card that can help me with that too?)

Don't have a conniption fit dood. Pretty sure you will not be able to use those Creative 5.1's with an interface man. Isn't that a bluetooth run set of speakers? I suppose you could playback from your internal soundcard with them but........If you want to get serious about recording, you should get a pair of decent monitors too. Or at the very least, good headphones.

I'm thinkinag about 20 Watt beringher monitor and vic firth insulated headphone
but im still thinking about external card. more diffuse here is the m-audio 410 firewire. u can have it for 120 euros used.

i have the mixer do not forget....
i think i can plug the mixer to one imput

Right so if you only need to record 2 tracks at a time then your Ok

a not expensive one with more inputs?

Man talk about a language barrier... I have the hardest time trying to comprehend what you are asking. :D

I am not quite sure what you are asking so I will just say thin and hopefully it will work:

The M-Audio device is fine but it will only record 2 tracks - so if you want to play guitar and sing you will have to do it over two different takes, otherwise you can not mix the vocals separate from the guitar. If that is ok then the M-Audio 410 should work. If you want to be able to record several channels at once, you will need an interface with more inputs that is full duplex (8x8). something like the Presonus Firestudio project or the Alesis multimix 8 USB 2.0 or even a Zoom r16

cheapest option probably the alesis which is about $250 new

those allow you to actually multi-track as opposed to the M-16 which is just plain digital recording (2 track - left and right)
