I don't know what it is, maybe the delay is a bit too much, but it seemed that your lead wasn't always in key...
 
I''m a total newbie... but I found the bass line disconcerting. In my opinion you need to make it more sparse, try playing half-time... not too sure other than that... i'd need to fix the bass line first before I could decide.

Sorry I know this is a mixing thread... but it's all related really...
