I have gotta go in the cave--- I am the kind of Gal that can put on the gloves and strap on my balls when I need them-- I got my slaps on the wrist at Tascam cause I didnt take kindly to a troll- I almost got banned cause pussy boy couldnt take it after he opened a can of my whoop ass. lol

I ll be honest- bout this analog vs digital- I have no solid opinion to give because I personally have only ever used a 788. So I cannot discuss the pros and cons. You will come to find one thing about me -- is if I have not a clue -- I will not open my mouth. My man has used both as he has been into music since he was a teen- but he hates computers so he will never be on here.

The other thing about me is I suck at spelling--

I wouldn't sweat the age old question of Analog Vs Digital.
I (personally) find churches of several religions nice to look at if you know what I mean.

I love to look at an old church- But I wouldnt touch religion with a hundred foot pole! I think are all from Mars of apes! lol

Ok, I'll admit I feel stupid asking...

I've only been to this bbs and Tascams,so I guess I'm not down with the lingo, but on both sites I've seen the term "Troll"... Obviously it's not a term of endearment, but what exactally makes a person one?

BBS Troll is usually a borderline nutcase individual,...

who has a strong neurotic need to post any lunatic ranting bullshit he sees fit, in order to provoke a kneejerk reaction from other bbs members,... but always for the purpose of calling attention to himself, self-agrandizement, and getting his rocks off on how jolly fun it all is, nonsense or not, to provoke other members.

F/I, "trolling the boards" as an agitator, just trying to stir up shit, and get himself noticed.

It's indicative of mental illness.

What's up? I thought Larry Robinson took his ball and left the 788 forum long ago.
 
I though Larry Robinson was a Portastudio/246 person.

I don't recall him posting a lot, or having a large presence on the Tascambbs/788 forum, but it wouldn't surprise me, either.

Last time I saw LR post on HRcom, he was using a small, simple, non-descript user name, like 4-letters,... but I can't remember what that name was, at this time. It was not "Larry Robinson", outright, but it was something else, an anonymous screen name.

-Can't remember what it was, though. I think I remember it as a simple, nondescript name, as 4-letters.

All my analog stuff is Tascam. (414MkIII and a 424 MkII) I use this stuff way more than my digital stuff. Much more MOJO!
