my fellow musicians and producers I started off with a firewire audiophile interface it worked fine than it stopped working it just blinked so i went got the m audio mobilepre and i cant get my program (cool edit) to read my input im using a mixer because i use modules keyboards and beat machines it worked fine in firewire using the mixer but m audio wont do it for me any sugestions. please help
I think I would first be sure that the old hardware drivers and software were removed.
Forgive me...I'm not familiar with any of the gear you're using but, it seems like it's all hung up remembering the old set up. I'd clear the plate.
Then install the new hardware and driver that came with the equipment. Go to their website make sure you have the latest and greatest, then install the recording application.
