Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not a huge fan of the ramones, but always liked their stuff when i heard it.

Have never listened to the Ramone's version of that album, but listened to yours twice yesterday afternoon. Great stuff for working along to...

Cool. Thanks for checking it out. :)

Ok, got a chance to listen a couple of times last night and today...I actually recognize many of these tunes except not by name necessarily. It sounds really good throughout...very consistent track-to-track. Really an amazing project you undertook here - congrats on seeing it through. I can't believe you were doing this like on the side or something while posting all that other stuff! Man, some of you guys are just amazingly prolific.

Anyway, sounds really great (I forgot how they almost sound like '50's rock n roll with tons of distortion) and thanks again for making it available. The process was painless as you said :).

I am huge Ramones fan. Actually every time I think about them, I get all melancholic thinking they are practically all gone. All in under, what, three years in between? :( They deserved much more recognition. Sucks.

Downloading now. I can say I love almost all the songs of this album. I'm pumped! :D

Holly fucking shit! This is just awesome! I think I'm gonna cry. Brilliantly done, my friend.

Thanks a lot. Yeah it's really sad/weird that the main Ramones all died so close to eachother. It was like "fuck man, Joey died. That really sucks. What the fuck, Dee Dee is dead now too? Holy shit, now Johnny?" :(

All we got left are the drummers and CJ.

About four year ago I was gonna produce a Marky Ramone show here in PR, but unfortunately, for schedule discrepancies it couldn't be done. I hope I can do it sometime soon.

Greg...this is freekin' awesome man...love those old Ramones albums, but always wished they rocked a little harder sonic wise(that's why I love there live stuff)...this rocks hard...this one will be in my summer rotation for sure in the Car/home stereo!

Greg,
When doing the guitar tracks do you do up & down strums or just down?

Thanks queepy. :D

Ray, it's all downstrokes. You have to use downstrokes when doing the Ramones or it will never sound right. Watch some early Ramones footage on youtube. Johnny's hand is a blur of downstrokes and he strums way out near the neck joint - almost over the frets sometimes. That, plus a bridge single-coil going through 100 watts of Marshall on 10, give you that buzzsawing Ramones guitar sound. :D

It sounds like downstrokes but I was just nit picking your authenticity.
Somehow I knew you'd know - up n down just doesn't sound the same.
He must've had a monsterous set of muscles and tendons around that wrist.
Were you wearing denim, leather or spandex trousers when recording? Joke!

Lol. Mostly just my underwear. That is my preferred recording attire. :D

Sitting out on a lovely sunny day in the UK, I have the Greg Ramones on the stereo and it's great!!!

Never got into them but I'm liking it:D
