Hi there Phil,

A while back in a thread on mastering in SF you said:

What technique or proccess do you use to do this? It sounds like a great idea. I can't figger how to do it smoothly.

I only do that if I don't normalize or normalize using the peak method. Basically I just zoom in on the spots with high peaks, highlight, go to volume, and lower it some. If using the RMS method for normalizing it isn't necessary.....but sometimes I don't want that kind of compression.
