Hey Phil - man you are tackling a big one here, and I'm keeping in mind that this a Yesterday as interpreted by... Anyway - lots of pitch stuff going on, and in parts you are straining and the vocal get's 'pinched' and more pitchy. Maybe figure out a way to open up more, or try a different key. I think it's really cool that you are stretching out in new directions, including the new laid back bio photo :-)

Thanks for the comments bro. I keep wondering why I'm struggling to sing so high and it's because I'm tuned to E standard and the original is tuned down to D. So, I'm going to tune my guitar down today, bump up the tempo about 30 BPM and play it a shit load of times. Hopefully I'll be able to nail it down and it's all just for fun :D

I've taken to recording several versions of the basic tracks of my stuff in at least three different keys for practice and to figure out where I get the best vocal. It doesn't take any more than about half an hour to do for a basic three minute song. The tempo bump is a good idea. Also think about not stretching out the last words of the phrases so long. Good luck man -have fun!

Well I tuned my guitar down to D G C F A D and just about everything is easier to sing and easier to play lol. Although I've had a few too many drinking sessions with friends recently and my voice seems to be getting a little raspy hahah.
