Here's an updated version of the song that i've posted for comment earliar in one of the threads. I had originally posted it up on myspace, but now i have put it on soundclick.com. please let me know what you guys think.

Listening as I type...

It sounds like the lead vocal is leaning a bit to the left... :confused:

There is also a wierd thing going on with the high frequencies, it sounds like I a listening through a tin can...

Yes, I hear both these issues, too.

The hi-hat clashes with the vocals and makes it sound like the vocals need de-essing. It's a pretty good song, and the snare sounds good. But, overall, it just seems like an un-balanced mix.
 
i thought the vocals was a little too loud, but i did put a little reverb and delay onto it. i tried to lower the overheads on the drums, maybe i need to adjust the eq on them. i'll give it another try at it. thanks for the input.
