ok here is the deal, ATM im making songs to use on a vocal demo to start shopping for a band here in LA. I play guitar and a little base.
I have fruityloops 3.5 for all my drum making needs.
I have guitarport running to cakewalk home studio 2004 XL
So I can make basic recording and whatnot and Im fairly happy.
I do not have a mic or anything needed to record my vocals into homestudio.
This is where I get confused.
If Im in the bedroom of my apartment and I sing like TOOL/AFI/STP ish what kind of sound card and mike set up would any of you recomend?
I have a sound blaster audigy 2 right now and it seems to work fine.
If you need more specific info please let me know.
Again this is for now just for recording decent quality demos with the emphasis on my voice, not the instruments. Down the road Im sure I will want to upgrade but for now Im just looking for a cost effective good quality set up.l
