yes the throne will be upgraded in the re modeling process.
blue bear-the ceiling is black and all trim is gold.
i am going for that east indian hindu/temple feel(as you can see by the wall hangings).
to the right of the mixer is a stack(2 marshall 4x12 cabs, rocktron voodoo valve pre-amp and a marshall 9600 poweramp)
and behind the "throne" is my drumkit (pearl masters series)
it all works out really well for me. i do good in that space with my gear. not to mention all the varoius percussion i have.
when i want big drum sounds i will record the drums where i work(www.tempremillstudios.com) than bring them back to my studio for the rest.
Your not a percussionist by chance are you? Hahahahha, that fantastic. What cool percussion instruments. You are very lucky to have all of those. Makes for really interesting recordings I bet. Wish I had someone around to play those. Good luck with the remodel. Nice setup too!

thanks mr. rat! yea thats pee wee herman. yes im heavily into west afracian drumming. i travel to all of the drumming festivals in different parts of the country and play. as if having a studio isnt expensive enough!!
you would never guess that the drums i record were done in such a small room. they sound great. for hand drums i use either an at 4033 ,sm 57 and mc012. but i will be upgrading my mics soon.
Thank you for the photo of you and your instruments. Fabulous! And my wife may possibly think me less crazy now. Or at least that I'm not the only one.
it was either a new chair or a mp2nv. i choose the mp2nv.(really i am getting a new chair!)
ok,due to the high volume of comments on my chair i have decided to put it on ebay....buy it now only $100.
that big orange thing is a rain stick. that is only about 1/4 of the percussion shit that i really want. i would love to get a native plains flute made by scott loomis but they run about $700.
i am a djembe addict.
